Our summer yoga classes take place in Villa Hannala’s beautiful garden in Toppilansaari, Oulu, from early June until mid-August. The classes are organized in collaboration with Artic Yin.
AURINKOJOOGA – SUN YOGA
Tuesdays from June 3rd to July 15th (6.15PM-7.30PM)
Welcome to a class themed around the sun, strength, energy flow, and awakening.
This practice focuses on sun salutations and dynamic asanas, balanced with relaxation through breathing and meditation exercises. The class is suitable for everyone.
Instructor: Jonna Kaspalo
DYNAMIC FLOW
Wednesdays June 4th to 18th & July 30th to August 13th (6.15PM to 7.30PM)
Physical yoga where the asanas flow smoothly in sync with your breathing. This practice strengthens the body and increases flexibility. A focus exercise prepares you for the session. The versatile asana sequence engages the entire body, and a gentle final relaxation brings the practice to a peaceful close.
The Wednesday garden yoga is suitable for beginners in normal physical condition without significant movement restrictions — and of course also for those with previous yoga experience.
Instructor: Henna Ervasti
YIN&YANG YOGA
Tuesdays July 22nd to August 12th (6.15PM to 7.30PM)
In this yoga class, you’ll connect with the fundamental forces of life through asanas and meditation. Yin and yang are opposites — one cannot exist without the other. The class begins with dynamic movements that get your energy flowing and build endurance for both body and mind. The calm yin portion at the end offers deep recovery and holistic rejuvenation.
This is a beginner-level class, suitable for everyone.
Instructor: Sipe Åqvist
